Ask about In-Depth

Prices are in Australian dollars. Before you begin, we'll explain the screening method, what's included, how it works and whether the service is available and right for you.

HOW IT WORKS

How the process works

  1. Clarify the question.

Tell us what you want to understand so we can discuss whether screening is a helpful first step.

  2. Check the options.

We'll explain what screening covers, what information we need, the cost and how it will be delivered.

  3. Review the information.

Your counsellor reviews your responses alongside how the concern affects daily life.

  4. Receive and discuss findings.

Receive feedback in the confirmed format, including possible strategies, referrals or questions for further assessment.

PROFESSIONAL LIMITS

What the findings can—and cannot—tell you.

Screening does not diagnose depression, determine the cause of symptoms or replace medical review. Where there are immediate safety concerns, urgent support is more appropriate than routine screening.

Screening outcomes depend on the purpose, information available and appropriate tools. The practitioner will explain uncertainty and any reasons to seek a suitably qualified specialist.

Frequently asked questions

Can this help decide whether to seek therapy?

It may help clarify patterns and the kinds of support to explore, but it is not a substitute for a therapeutic or medical assessment.

What if I have an urgent concern about safety?

Seek urgent crisis or emergency support; screening is not a crisis-response service.
