AO PSYCHOLOGY / GUIDANCE & POLICIES

Your feedback deserves a clear pathway.

You should know how to ask a question, share feedback or raise a concern. This page explains how to contact AO Psychology about information, communication or services, and where to get independent help if needed.

HOW TO BEGIN

Tell us what could be better.

Your feedback may relate to access, communication, information provided, a proposed service, fees or an experience of care. You can raise a concern respectfully, ask for an explanation or seek independent advice about your options.

01 / EXPLAIN

Describe the concern

For general website feedback, provide the topic and the change you would find helpful. Avoid sending sensitive health information through the public development enquiry form.

02 / ACKNOWLEDGE

Confirm the right channel

If the matter concerns care, personal records, a payment or another confidential issue, a private process and appropriate identification/consent may be needed.

03 / CONSIDER

Review the concern

A formal complaint procedure should explain who reviews matters, expected contact and response arrangements, confidentiality and how outcomes are communicated. These operational details require approval.

04 / ESCALATE

Seek independent assistance

You do not have to use AO Psychology’s enquiry form if you are uncomfortable raising a matter directly. Independent Victorian and NDIS pathways may be available.

INDEPENDENT COMPLAINTS

You have options beyond contacting us.

The following are official complaint channels, separate from AO Psychology. Contact each body to confirm the kinds of matters it can consider. Victorian counsellors are also subject to the General Code of Conduct for Health Services ↗. You can also read the full Code of Conduct (PDF) ↗.

YOUR VOICE MATTERS

A concern should never be dismissed because you raised it.

If you are providing feedback on someone else’s behalf, check their consent and authority before disclosing personal details. For current general site issues, use the preliminary form only for non-sensitive information.
